Time & Place You First Read Ascension!

Some books impact our lives so strongly that we can remember exactly where we were when we first read the book. Here are a few of our time and places for the Ascension! book... add your time and place to the ones we have already gathered thus far in the comments below!

• August 2008 in the suburbs of Tigard Oregon, lounging in the back yard with kids playing around me.
• April 2010 in Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh, India. In Manu's place, staying in shade, since it was pretty hot and super dry. Beautiful holy town of Shiva at the banks of river Narmada.
• ​I read Ascension! at the end of 2000. Bought it from Era Nova (Helsinki, Finland) bookstore; went home and dove in.
• During my Advanced Retreat & Training, 2007 in Oregon. It was great we could ask questions during meetings about the book.
• 1997 in my apartment in St. Louis.
• At the end of 2005 in my Hong Kong home.
• 2006, Grand Rapids, MI. Wanted to know more about the practice that could take me ‘out of my mind.’
• 2008. I remember listening to the audio version at work; I wanted to finish reading it before I learned to Ascend!
• It was not until I learned Ascension in Feb 1999 that I even knew about the books, and read it later that year in Minneapolis.
• Sitting on a couch, in a house, in a state that is far away from where I live now, and in a time that was long ago from today!
• 2007, some time between Oct and Dec, at a coffee shop in Seattle. Sat there and read through the whole book that day.
