Controversial - Ascension! Selling A Cult-Like Practice

​When going through the reviews about Ascension! An Analysis Of The Art of Ascension As Taught By The Ishayas, a person is bound to come across some that are not favorable. Some people feel like this book is just selling a practice that is going to make someone rich but has no inherent value in and of itself. Others feel that it is propaganda inviting the weak into some form of cult where they are to abandon their families and live a commune life ultimately benefiting some guru or master.

It is interesting to read these comments and also read the hurt and betrayal coming from the minds of those who are suspicious of anything Spiritual. In our lives, if we were raised in a religious upbringing and still believe whole-heartedly in that belief system, the types of things mentioned in this book would be sacrilege and something to fear. If we were the ones burnt by a form of religious indoctrination, we may fear this piece of writing for its spiritual invitation and its potential to disappoint us, just as our previous belief systems had. If we have been burnt by authority, we may fear setting down our control in order to learn something new... which involves learning something we know nothing about from someone we don't know. Or on the other hand, if we trust the authority, we are naturally fearful of teachings that encourage us to step outside of our subservience and explore Reality for our selves.

To those of us that know the Truth of the matter, it means little what the naysayers scream out from their platform of fear. Of course we would prefer if all could hear the invitation and step more wholly into their True Self where a life filled with fear, disappointment and suffering is no longer possible, but we also understand and value each person’s free will to choose for either love or fear. It is only by discovering our power of choice and the resulting consequences of those choices in our own lives that we become more skilled in resulting lives that are uplifting and wholly beneficial to all. So, for those in the stage of development still entrenched in fear, we continue to hold the Truth and speak out so that in the moment of their evolution that they can finally hear, an open doorway will exist.
